#ScrewTheScale: trend koji je pokazao srednji prst mršavljenju!

Ako je suditi prema trendu koji je zavladao društvenim mrežama – brojevi na vagi više nisu toliko važni!

Trenutno je više od 69 hiljada objava na Instagramu koji otkrivaju razne fitness transformacije a njihova je svrha pokazati  da – uz pravilnu ishranu i trening – nije potrebno zavisiti o sopstvenoj težini, nego o tome da se osjećaš dobro i komotno u svojoj koži!

Naime, brojne mlade žene koje su stavile svoje objave na društvene mreže prije i poslije, nisu nužno smršavile, već naprotiv – mnoge od njih su uz zdravu ishranu i vježbanje i dobile kilograme, no ono što je najvažnije osjećaju se – zdravije i bolje!

Poruka ovog ‘pokreta’ jest da je važno – jesti dovoljno i trenirati pametno, a ne dugo! Mnoge žene su, u svojim objavama priznale kako su se nakon dugih kardio-treninga osjećale preumorne, a rezultati nisu bili očiti sve dok nisu počele trenirati pametno.

Naime, dobro znamo da se s većom mišićnom masom metabolizam ubrzava – pa se stoga ‘dohvatite’ utega i poradite na svojoj mišićnoj masi!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: setting a goal weight and achieving it will not make you happy. To achieve true happiness, you’ve got to transform what’s going on on the inside.⁣ ⁣ My journey began in January 2018. I set a goal weight of the lowest weight I’d been in my adult life. I never achieved it. Not because I didn’t try hard enough or didn’t sacrifice enough. Because a few months in I realized that number was crap. I realized I was starting to feel better, and sleep better, and my anxiety was better. All of that was happening while my weight was staying the same. That’s when it clicked for me. ⁣ ⁣ I’ve received several messages from people interested in intuitive eating, but wanting to wait until they get to their goal weight to start. If I had waited I probably never would’ve taken the leap, because getting down to my original goal weight would require an unhealthy amount of restriction, deprivation, and overtraining.⁣ ⁣ I cannot tell you what is going to happen to your body when you eat intuitively. Maybe you’ll lose weight, maybe you’ll gain weight, or maybe you’ll stay the same. But I challenge you to answer this question: why is the thought of gaining weight worse than having an unhealthy relationship with food and with yourself? Listening to and trusting my body has brought me so much more happiness than achieving my goal weight ever could ❤️
